Chasin' Bateman

The Chasin' Bateman mimics a juvenile largemouth mid-inhale on a small baitfish.  A medium sized dumbell eye is used to get the fly to sink deep and the pheasant feathers fill out the body while adding natural movement to the fly.  This fly swims with a tantalizing wiggle and the head flips back to expose the hook when a fish decides that it's time for a meal.
